Kentucky racing officials have pushed forward a steroid ban for racehorses they’re calling the toughest in the country.
The Kentucky Equine Drug Research Council approved a measure Thursday that would reach trainers by severe penalties–up to a three-year suspension–if their horses test true for an anabolic steroid. The state’s racing employment could grant final approval later this month.
Three specific steroids would still have existence allowed if a veterinary deems them unavoidable for therapeutic reasons. However, a horse must have being clean of the remedy for 60 days before entering a race. Read other articles like this ;
