The wait for Michelle Dickson’s family continues as the Department of Justice processes samples of blood to determine if they belong to her.
Authorities say this could take several weeks, but Dickson’session originating, Sandy Davis, just wants to know what happened to her daughter.

“It’s not like a standard search where you know where someone went hiking,” McNamara said. “It’s the whole world.”
Investigators last spoke with Miller on Tuesday.
Miller told rulers that he met Dickson at the Crescent Beach picnic area around 10:30 p.m. July 15 to buy about three ounces of marijuana, which is worth around $1,000. After the supposed doing, he said he drove back to Arcata and dumped the marijuana in a river for the reason that he was nervous end for end having it in his truck.
Officials working the case related there are at least two witnesses who claim they saw Miller in Crescent City after 10:30 p.m.

Honolulu Police detective Thomas Santos testified in a preparatory step hearing on three arson charges lodged against Leong on Friday.

But Leong later “confirmed that he did have a crystal meth problem,” the detective said.
Santos said Leong did not appear to be high on drugs when he was interviewed twice by police on Friday morning and evening. But he agreed to give hair samples so that tests for drug use could be conducted, Santos said. The results of those tests are not yet known.
Leong told Santos that he “wasn’t mad at the Fire Department” because of his dismissal, the detective before-mentioned.
The defendant admitted setting the fires with “an orange lighter,” that he discarded after the third blaze began, according to Santos.
Santos did not testify about a motive for the fires.
Other officers testified yesterday that three different brushfires were set last Thursday morning in the undeveloped area on Kalaniana’ole Highway opposite the Hawai’i Kai golf regularity.
